Goodwood

As part of my time building before i go solo i must compleat to fly to a different airfield, this is incase I have to divert from my local airfield. On Friday 30th July I ventured over to Goodwood, an overcast day with wind of 240/12kt, which was ok for Goodwood as directly down the landing strip but it was for 20L at Shoreham as this would be another x/wind takeoff and landing. Overall the flight was good, I use a CAA map and it was perfect to use for the first time as i could tell from looking around that selsey bill as directly south of the airfield, North a few miles was Goodwood racecourse and running between us was the railway line and other side was the A27 (Worthing to Portsmouth). My heading with 290 degrees from Shoreham but with the x/wind this would be 270degress with an aprox time of 12 minutes from T/O to T/D. So overall a great flight, landing and cicuit returning to Shoreham... and then to land at Shoreham as a flaplass landing!!
Next flight thursday, this will be a flapless and glide landing lesson within the circuit.
